Virtual Account States
List of states of a Virtual Account and their significance.
There are two states for a Virtual Account, Active and Closed. Given below is an illustration of the life cycle of a Virtual Account.
The table below lists the various states of a Virtual Account and gives a brief description of each state:
Status | Description | Next Steps |
|---|---|---|
Active | Indicates the Virtual Account has been created and saved. You can accept payments using this account. | Customers can start making payments to this Virtual Account. |
Closed | Indicates the Virtual Account has been deactivated or has expired. You cannot accept payments using this account. | Customers can no longer make payments to this Virtual Account. You cannot reactivate the Virtual Account. You need to create a new Virtual Account to start accepting payments. |
